While they are not exactly known for the softness of their leather, your bang for buck is definitely realized here. I have a few bags in my collection and have never had any quality issues with any of them as they are durable bags. They also have a 1 year guarantee so you will have time to decide if they wear for the price. I will admit that I do cringe when I see their site comparing their bags (dupes) to originals on the marketplace that are priced higher. They do look similar to others that are priced higher, but the leather quality is not the same. I have 2 Strathberry bags. They are both incredibly well made with extremely high quality leather that stands the test of time. The only thing is, I do not carry them as often as I should. I reach for both often but usually grab something else. Why? I think the fact that is crafted so well – it is HEAVY even when empty and I tend to pass over it in favor of some of my lighter bags. Also, their sizes are a bit awkward for my personal use. I have the Mosaic Nano and my phone does not fit!!! Which Burgundy Bag is Going Home with Me?

When looking through all these gorgeous options, I decided to take my own advice and invest in an autumn wardrobe upgrade. I recently purchased the Rag & Bone Brayton Leather Shopper Bag ($398) and paired it with the Rag & Bone Stak Suede Tassel Charm ($48). While I absolutely fell in love with the carefree look of the full fringe carryall, I was a bit uncertain about how long heavy fringe would remain a major trend. Because I wanted a classic piece that would seamlessly span seasons for years to come, choosing the structured leather bag was the smartest play. By clipping on the detachable suede tassel charm, I successfully brought that fun, bohemian fringe element into my look while preserving a timeless silhouette that will never go out of style!

While my ‘dream’ bag in this list is the Maison Margiela Medium East West Box Bag at $2,350, my budget is nowhere in the range to add that bag into my wardrobe. Instead, I will admire it from afar and hopefully in a year or so, it will end up on the Real Real or another second-hand site where I can purchased a gently loved edition 😉
