Quince August Favorites (Vol.4)

It is no secret that Quince has become one of my absolute go-to brands for high-quality essentials without the luxury markup. My August order just arrived, and it is a perfect mix of transitional footwear and cozy autumn fragrances to prep my home for the upcoming season. From staple shoe repurchases to an ever-growing candle collection, here is everything I bought this month and my thoughts on how they fit, feel, and smell.

👟 The Footwear

Quince Italian Leather 55mm Kitten Heel Mule – Garnet

• • The Verdict: A certified staple.
  • My Thoughts: The Italian kitten mule joins its sister colors already sitting in my closet! This was a repurchase of a style I already know, love, and trust. They fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable for all-day wear. The new Garnet shade is the perfect deep, rich hue to transition my wardrobe into fall. If you look at my prior Quince monthly purchases, you will see where I have added the other colors in this style to my wardrobe already.

Quince Australian Shearling Mini Boot – Coffee Bean 

• • The Verdict: Luxury comfort at a fraction of the price.
  • My Thoughts: I am already a massive fan of Quince’s shearling slippers, and since I love the classic UGG shorties, I decided to add these to my collection. They are absolutely amazing. I have an incredibly high arch, which usually makes slip-on boots a nightmare, but these fit true to size.
  • Pro Tip: It is a bit of a struggle to get them on the very first time. I used a x-long shoehorn to help, but after that initial wear, I’ve had zero issues popping my feet right in and walking out the door. The Coffee Bean color is beautiful and looks incredibly elevated when worn. I should also note that I do have the UGG version and there is practically zero difference between the 2.

🕯️ The Candle Haul

I’ll admit it: I am a bit of a novice candle lover, but I have become completely hooked on Quince candles. Between Quince and Crate & Barrel, my home is always perfectly set for fragrance.

Quince candles burn incredibly cleanly, and the accent jar holders look beautiful and elevated on my countertops. Here is the breakdown of my autumn scent lineup:

• • Pumpkin Cardamom Candle: This is a total repurchase for me. I bought this exact scent last autumn and loved it so much that I ended up burning it throughout the entire year. It’s an absolute must-have if you love a warm, spicy fall vibe.
  • Sunset Nectar Limited Edition Candle: This one is the current favorite! It smells amazing, and I’ve been enjoying it so much that I have already ordered a backup backup online.
  • Harvest Cider Candle: Another new addition to my fall lineup, and it smells absolutely incredible. It gives all the crisp, cozy orchard vibes you want as the weather cools down.
  • Palo Santo Candle: While it smells wonderful in person, it is currently sitting unlit on my counter simply because I can’t stop burning the Sunset Nectar! I can’t wait to light this one soon.

I also need to mention. Quince candles are priced at a reasonable $24 each. However, the price drops to $20 each when you purchase 2 at the same time!

Overall, August was a massive success. Quince continues to nail the balance of quality, comfort, and price point.
